From what I saw the 4070 ti had about 20% more frames in most benchmark tests but not enough performance increase for me to justify the extra cost. I think the rtx 4070 comes out in a few days for around $599 making it another decent option. That said, the 3080 is a beast of a card at 1440p. I typically get anywhere from 90-120 frames in any game at 1440p at max settings. I think $400 is a pretty great deal for it. That's a fantastic deal and it won't struggle at all to game in 1440p for quite some time, even longer when you throw dlss into the equation.
